Look up in the sky tonight

If you get a clear sky on wednesday night and other nights when the moon isn't more than cresent you will see Venus in the sky just after dark.

You will see a triangle with the moon,Venus,and a bright star together.

(I forget the stars name but it is actually many times larger than the sun)

Venus will be bright like a star but of course it will be the one that doesn't "twinkle"

I am supposed to get a clear sky and a warm day so I will be taking a look (I have been looking at Venus every night it has been clear lately in the southern sky)

And of course a couple famous constellations will be seen in the same area.

Also in the lower southern sky if you have a telescope or real good eyes there will be a comet named "2P/Encke"

Oh its on us Kurt, 3:50 this am it was pouting down rain, breezy as hell. I guess I'll get spring sometime before 4th of July.

Yeah I had a better view last night

Tonight is clouds.

But I did plant 2 more giant sequoia's during the day and have one more to plant when I get out tomorrow.

After that no more buying them........just taking cuttings off of my older big ones and planting another 30 in the back field for my own private redwood forest/ fence so I don't have to see my idiot neighbors.

Free sequoia to anyone that runs over the dickless fatass across the street btw

Cravn's being a wimp. The weather man insists we're going to get quite a pounding of rain but snow only in the higher elevations north and west of 78. John's log home is safe from the white stuff.

Fire up the fireplace, order another delivery of fuel oil, and settle in for the weekend.

Come on Blue, I listen to Baltimore Channels, and they are still forcasting Rain and Snow mix Sunday into Monday..Temps at 38-42 degrees..

The weather is normal here but yesterday at 5:10 as I started watching The Factor and all of a sudden the power goes out!

Turns out some old guy ran over a power pole with his Jag about 8 miles from here but since our power company is run by dim bulbs these days they have to bring the poles from clear over by Seattle

So the power was out until today around 8:00 this morning so that was about 15hrs with no power so I stayed up until about 3am watching tv on a battery powered 5 inch black and white that lost it's picture until I reloaded the damn thing with 9 more "C" batteries.

I ran out of them so I just switched to the radio on the battery and found an old channel at a college in Everett that plays reggae until 3am on thursday night.

And it was the day after Bunny Wailers birthday so they played lots of his tunes and lots of other old stuff I like so it was pretty good considering I was sitting in the dark all night............not to mention the wife put an apple pie in the oven 30mins before the power went out so I got up this morning and turned the oven back on when I noticed the power was back on again!!

I have to set this place up so I get power off the creek since I have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many things that require electricity here at my place.
