That's because we could make out picks on Sunday but not have to get up early in the morning to make an early pick ..

The RULE is that EVERY pick must be posted BEFORE the first kickoff on sunday and that includes when they play in Europe at 6 am our time.......has ALWAYS been the Rule here

Well I am the Emperor so that part is true

BUT I also keep records and that Rule book does cover it all and it has come up every few years (sometimes by the same member)

These European games started being played back in October 28, 2007 (btw that was the start of the 2nd season on  THIS website and I also have stuff saved from the website before that and even some old printed pages from the ESPN version before Miguel was impeached for being a jackass)

And they also have played in Mexico

The NFL has had games in Europe and Mexico every season since 2007 (only 4 seasons played in Mexico)

and here is the exact copy of that Rule
*To summarize:

1) You can post your entire bookie card all at once if you choose.
2) You can post your Best Bets on different days if you choose, each GameDay is separate and individual. You can make a Best Bet on Thursday, your Parlay on Sunday, and your second Best Bet on Monday.
3) You cannot post an incomplete Parlay. If you don't correct it before the Posting Deadline, then your Parlay is void for that week. For example; if you post your Parlay on Sunday and it's incomplete, you must correct it before the Posting Deadline for Sunday, which is of course the kickoff of the first game played that day. If the first game is scheduled for 10am Pacific, then the Posting Deadline is 9:59am Pacific.
ALL Sunday picks must be posted before the first kickoff of that day. <-------
If you are late then your last chance is one Best Bet for the MNF game*

AND "first kickoff on sunday"  means just what it says.......AND I always found it strange that some of you won't do your picks until minutes before that first kickoff since you can post them on saturday and the points spreads never change here so it can't be that.

I have ALWAYS posted mine on friday or saturday EVERY season since it started and won many 2nd place and several 3rd place and back to back Champion here so it must not be needed minutes before that first kickoff on sunday mornings.
(oh and I also have the record highest scoring total here a few years ago)

Now if we were back to having close to 20 players like the old days THAT would make the big difference here for sure

Magic, You are terrible at understanding that the rule has not been followed and no one has had their picks negated. I guess I was asking if NOW the rule is going to be followed, which would mean that everyone has to make their picks before the start of the 9:30est game!

Nobody said you have to pick that early game or any other game......you are supposed to decide your BB's and Parlay yourself and just post it BEFORE the first games kickoff.

I have said here many many times that all you have to do is post them on saturday.......and this time I might as well say.....WHY does anyone have to post the picks early sunday morning......there is no advantage to doing that.......and may I quote you from several years ago?
You asked me why the point spreads here were not the same as the ones you read on a saturday night......and my reply was.....it doesn't matter.....your picks here are using the point spreads posted here and since we all go by the same lines it makes no difference

In fact if you really want to you could look at the saturday night lines and compare them to the ones here and use your Vegas skills to see if you can figure out WHY Vegas changed the lines from what they were......and all the injury reports are in by saturday so that can't be the reason either. (and as I said before the reason they change the lines is because of the bets they get and use that to get new bettors to change their minds on the O/U or point spreads which is another Vegas trick to con bettors into handing over more of their cash

BUT you still have to post them before the first kickoff and well we all are alive and kicking on saturdays and even fridays so we all can do the picks on time.......and I also proved that the rule was here way before everyone joined except Craig and I  in 2007

Hell the rule is so old that a few of those members are watching the games in BC Heaven now including the original member who came up with all the Rules and they were all written out by another old geezer who has been gone for years too.

Oh and I forgot to add that Rule changes are always made before the season starts by a Vote......so once again......that would have to be before the 25th Annual......where in a dream world we will get back up to 20 members again like it used to be not that long ago.

BTW I picked that early game myself on Friday and will take what ever the final score turns out to be
