Norm, so far in my trip, fly into key West, this 100 mikes of 1 lane rte 1 fucking sucks. Too many old fucks that don't know the speed limits on this road, brought back my road rage

Yes we did, we are at Asbury Ct Hotel, we are in the historic district, we walked to Duval st and had dinner at Margaretiville. These old 1890's homes are beautiful. Hopefully this morning we'll visit the southernmost point in the Continental USA, and visit the ship wreck display.

Norm, one thing, if you decide Key West is for you, you park your car and forget about it til you leave, you either do bike or scooter, parking is ridiculously expensive, I'm 20 bucks in and only have been to a couple of attractions.

10 tries and it won't load straight up so I give up (resized over and over)

Rain and wind and floods here if you want that type of vacation

Hell no, but I'm contemplating brewing my own beer at a fraction of the stores cost

Your type of beer is the easiest to brew Cravn

Lagers and Ales are the opposite when it comes to brewing.

Ales are "top brew" and warm and Lager is "bottom brew" and cold.

I made lots of Ales back in the 90's and still have all my brewing and bottling gear but it has been a long time since I did any brewing.

With Ales EVERYTHING has to be done right or you end up with beer you dump down the drain.

Ales still have to stay warm for a while after it is in the bottle at a certain temp.

I used to put all the new bottles of Ale around the edge of my old water bed

Then they went in the fridge.

Still have all my recipes written down around here somewhere.

The main thing you would need is all the sterilized bottles and caps and the capper and the 5 gallon containers.
(still have my 2 five Gallon Glass Carboys)

Thanks for posting my picks Mr Bill, great to be back, even though we didn't have sunny weather it was very warm and humid in key West. The Mrs and I really enjoyed the old town feel where we stayed and it was a shirt walk to the attractions of Duval St and the waterfront attractions.

No problem and welcome back home and it sounds like you had fun.

Here it is raining so hard I couldn't sleep and rivers around the State are flooding out those people crazy enough to build houses next to rivers or in low lands where it always ends up 10 feet under water this time of year.

We only see the floods on the local news.
