uh oh.. bad omen

Colts won a preseason game.

Didn't see the games since we had a wind storm (first ever like this in August) and the power was out for 14 hours and came back on at 15 after midnight so I am up starting all the pc's back up

Sure can be boring when you have 14 hours with no electricity

But I did find some old paper money I had stashed and looked at a bunch of coins I also had stashed that I haven't seen in years and some other stuff I had stashed around the house........shows you how much you can miss your microwave

Generator would solve that issue, have mine all ready gassed up waiting on Erica,

I did go to buy some gas since I had the 40 cent off deal yesterday and took the 1970 Cutlass Supreme since it only had about 1/8th of the tank left.

I had two gas containers in the trunk so I filled those and then the car and got 27.5 gallons for $65.........which still doesn't sound very good but it was 40 cents less than the one across the street.

I usually only burn one tank of gas in the Cutlass these days so now it can sit until next year with a tank full and the Jag is still close to full but I will top it off and now I have extra gas to get the 4X4 just to start up without running the battery dead trying......and top off the Deere and now fill the chain saw so I can get that damn maple tree off the driveway.

It was sunny yesterday but I never got that far so and today is windy again so I probably will wait to saw up that mess.

One of Erica's bands came thru and produced some serious lightning, one Bolt went in-between my neighbors and our home, naturally it fried the At&T uverse and the receiver in the master bedroom. Pretty good service I hat at&T here by 9am and direct TV was right behind him.

Yeah our new power company can make excuses that fast but getting the power back on was after 3am the next day.

No problem with my dish since I installed it and lighting won't hit it since we have other metal much higher here.

Was just outside in the wind today because for the first time ever a Great White Egret stopped by the pond with 20 Mallards so I tried to get some video and now have to edit it (7 minutes) since some is pretty shakey looking and I started shooting through the windows and then went out on the front porch to get a better look.

They say this bird never comes this far up in the NW and that it is 3 feet tall........well this one was over 4 feet tall.

I would take a snap shot but that program is on my laptop which is under repair (bleepin' figures)
