Hey CRAVN????
Do you get the NFL Network?
I tell you what.....this channel is something else.
I remember when they first started testing the channel on the old C-band satellite dish and then put it on directTv and dishnetwork.
But today they had this NEW hour show part of NFL "America's Game" and it was about the 1970 Colts season with great video's of that season like the first time they played vs Namath after that SBIII bullshit and Namath throwing 2 TD's to Colts defensive players and the Colts won and then that 1st game vs former coach Shula and his shitphins and the Colts crushed them 35-0 as Bubba and Mike Curtis knocked them out like that drunk that ran on the field to steal the ball
And just like you and me BOTH Mike and Bubba to this very day are very pissed about SBIII
Mike said he knew they could have beat them a hundred times and still would rather have won SBIII instead of beating them 100 times over those few years.

Re: Hey CRAVN????
Thanks for that picture Cravn (yeah I saved it)
Glad you got to watch that!
Great video and if you crank the sound up you could here the players talking on a few clips.
I had heard Mad Dog talk about that years ago on a espn classic show when he was still younger than what we just saw.
It was easy to piss him off and when #19 drilled him in the head with a pass just to show him who was boss he wasn't very happy about that.
Unitas already had 10yrs in the league when Mike was drafted by the Colts.
They got to be friends later (remember on the Unitas website when it was still doing ok they only sold Unitas stuff and a Mike Curtis autographed jersey so that tells you something)
The funny thing was how Mike and Bubba were friends back then and Bubba tells about when he went and had dinner at Mikes house and he had to stop and eat again at KFC on the way home
Mike turns 64 next month and is in the commercial real estate biz and you can tell he still would love to beat the crap out of anyone that pissed him off........he would make a good Secretary of Defense

Re: Hey CRAVN????
Funny story on Bubba. Growing up my cousins and I were close. When the baby was born, Matthew in mid 69. When camp opened up in 69, the Headlines read "Bubbas Back", just so happened that Matthew was being Christened that Day, we nicknamed Bubba, and it sticks with him to this day. Hes a Dr at a School in Delaware, and his brothers and I still refer to him as Bubba.
