I will have to just listen.........no dancin'

I replaced two belts and the 3 blades on my John Deere yesterday and then mowed the entire lawn and it was 50 degrees so all that put together made it hard to get out of bed before noon even with a  vicodin wtf

It will take a few days before all the mowing pain will go away.

But these new blades I got from JD in Illinois are the best I ever had so this should be a easier season (as the gas price starts rising again)

I'll be back on Anna Maria Island in 4 weeks!! I was able to book a week starting March 21st. Hopefully the gulf water warms up a tad in the next 4 weeks. This week looks like it's beautiful down there.

Very good Mr Norm, hoping the weather stays in this pattern for you. And next year if you can't get your place look over on the east coast, Melbourne beach is gorgeous and has a great selection of shells too.

Well today Feb 24th is the actual 40th anniversary of the day when we could go to the good old record stores and buy this Led Zeppelin album hellyes

Of course now things cost a lot more so if I was to get a new turntable for playing these now expensive albums it would be over $1000

Or send my Carver vacuum tube output CD player to be fixed to just play the CD's

Or just unripebooya and dream that I did lol

LOVE?

They do have songs about getting some from chicks but Bread is not "mature" and is love with a piano lol

The thing about Led Zeppelin is they wrote lyrics AND are all the best at playing their instruments (unlike that cRap we have today)

You just heard the ones they played on the radio (Stairway to Heaven billions of times)

You are the same age as those guys and I bet you couldn't play a guitar like that in 1968 or the drums like John Bonham! (he was 20) and Jimmy Page was born Jan 9th 1944 and can play anything with strings and is still hard at work clap

Too bad Bonham had to drink vodka for breakfast and ended that (of course Robert Plant has several albums on his own after that)

They did it all from acoustic songs to the Hammer of the Gods from the blues to rock and didn't have 2 pop songs and 8 fillers on every album like the ones you mentioned (Santana is playing one long song on the guitar that never ends and never changes)

AM radio was ok when I was 10 years old wink

Hey now.......I`m hoping your talking about rap.

cause todays rock sounds so much better than back in the day when I growing up.

Godsmack does an awesome LZ song:

damn I lost my touch on how to post videos.......

But they do an Aersosmith song too that's kickass.

Also killswitch engage does an awesome Ronnie James Dio too............ bounce

Ah hell I stick to the originals not the modern copies.........but yeah cRap sUcks lol

Hate anything called rap or hip hop (gawd I even hate typing those words shitcanned )

Some of the 60's-70's guys are still doing tours but several lost the lead singers over the years.

I heard on the radio there is some tour called "British Invasion* about to happen with real old school rockers.

I saw Denny Laine when he was with the *Moody Blues*

I wonder if these guys still have their voices........but then they weren't screamers back then lol

I am a member at this *Carver Corp* group (Bob Carver the electronics physicist that invented Phase Linear and Carver Corp and his current Sunfire company making very high-tech audio gear and very expensive)

Check this thread by a guy here in Seattle with the biggest vinyl LP collection I have ever seen (he shows some daily)

Thousands of LP's
