Nice and sunny all day and of course it moves low acros the southern sky.

So I went out at noon and it is up to 33 in the shade.

Hauled a couple bags of wood pellets in just in case.

But look at this ice that I saw outside by the back porch coming out of this old steel pan we feed birds in the summer.

WTF is that and how did it do THAT?

It looks like a meteor froze just as it hit the pan of water smile

Despite all the conveniences of the modern world (ice makers in the freezer) I continue to make my own ice in trays with distilled water. (harder and clear as a piece of glass and lasts much, much longer) I've seen similar formations grow from the ice cube trays...

It would never freeze, John. Too much alcohol in it. Smile
