Obviously Pig Pen is a helluva more effective QB than Flake-o against the Colts "D" (those dudes were reading too many press clippings...the true Colts D has re-emerged).

What happened.

Maybe this is Sunday morning and I just woke up from a screwed up dream.

The vaunted Colts D lets the Stillers have the ball for nearly 40 minutes and pass for over 500 yards and 6 TD's (and somehow, per Cravn, the loss is on Luck who managed to account for 34 points in 20 minutes of playing time).

I've come to realize that the Colts are a team that will NEVER, EVER have a consistent and competitive defense. Just average from week-to-week would be nice but they suck you in for a few games than totally destruct and look like a high school team. Truly sucks, at times, to watch the Colts play.

I was hoping, but not convinced, that the D had evolved into something. But my true feelings came true. This defensive backfield is garbage. Granted Pitt was at home... But still. We are adequate, barely, on pass D. Just like we have been for years. We were exposed. Our O is fine. But the D isn't what the media tried to make us out to be.
