Enjoyable, but a fraud.  Lots of Mopars, not one 'Cuda.

Yeah I watched closely and noticed there wasn't a 1970 Cutlass Supreme either......with that blonde in the seat next to me  lol

But then it was a 1969 version (the song anyway) so I let em slide this time  smile

Yep, that's the bomb.

I've always laughed at the guitar solo in that tune.....I think they spent about 3 minutes coming up with that riff. It's a great tune, but not giving any thought to the solo ruins it.

The whole idea of a "guitar solo" is to clearly identify the ending of the first half of the tune, create a new song in the middle (the solo), then return to the beginning of the song with a few twists.

I could come up with a good riff for that tune in my sleep.

Funny thing is Norman Greenbaum (the Jewish guy) who wrote and sings that song had no other big hits after that but he made piles of cash since it has been used in many movies and tv shows and commercials.

He is still alive and kicking and doing that song at places and you can find him on youtube talking about all of that.

Back in 1969 when they were doing songs like that the guitar riffs where left for the other guys like Hendrix,Clapton,Page, and Beck....and the rest.

Greatest music ever made was back then and not many are still alive.

Usually the lead singers go first.
