Re: Total Domination
How in the world can you all root for Manning? I know he did a lot in Indy but he could of stayed in Indy but choose not to,
I don't get how you root for him.
Total different situation of me rooting for JohnnyU after he was sold to the bolts by that idiot irsay,

Re: Total Domination
I'm rooting for pretty much any quarterback and his team when Brady and the Pats are the opposition. But, while the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" applies, IMHO Peyton is a top-notch QB and a top-notch man. I hold nothing against him for the "leaving Indy" situation. I see it as a win-win for him and for the Colts.
It was great to see his team put together a solid game in all respects under immense pressure given Peyton's history in the playoffs (which you have put down many, many times). Maybe it's a Union guy vs. non-Union guy kind of thing?

John, you know enough about how the game and the business of football works to not have to pose that question. This is pure stir the pot... Since ESPN went away, you feel the need to do it here?

No Kurt it's not a stir question, it's an honest one. I could not root for him if he left my team for another, Ray Lewis didn't do it and Brady won't do it and he's made just as much money as manning,

Well, perhaps their GMs did a better job with the contracts, then. Had 18 stayed, he'd have been playing with the JV team from Podink HS. Polian set up the team for a window of success. The window closed and the "pay me laters" came due.
