Cravn, you really need to work on your anger issues, man. The article talks about how they don't retire numbers anymore -- placing players into the team's "ring of honor", etc. And the Baltimore Colts even doled out the number 88 to four more players after John was finished there.

In fairness to them, though - and to indicate how his departure from here before the 1972 season was on such bad terms - four Baltimore Colts wore it after him; it was handed out that very season, in fact.
