Daniel Adongo - Good Read

Dude's currently on the Colts practice squad but, man-o-man, what a potential line backer.  An excellent article.

Yeah the team and that guy could BOTH be lucky if he can play LB'er for us.

Perfect size and he must be able to run fast and make the moves that a LB'er needs and we could use that since we have some problems there with injuries (Werner and Angerer)

We have 12 LB'ers on the roster right now.

He's a rugby guy and totally clueless about American football but the Colts seem willing to invest a year into the guy to see if they can mold him into a player.  Rugby - now there's one very rough sport.  No helmets, no pads, no nothing.

Can you imagine standing in the middle of the field about to start a game and your opponent (these guys) do their pump-up Haka chant?

Yeah that was quite a story there even when he was having some trouble with some of the English adjectives  

I guess the main thing he has to learn is how to catch the football for the INT and taught how not to fall for tricks that certain QB's are good at.

I can't imagine playing Rugby OR doing that chant  

I was a basketball player so that was not how I got myself ready to play

I don't know, man.......that dude seems kinda soft  



He looks more like one of those insane bicycle guys who play chicken on the side of the street with cars going by at 50+ mph, with only inches to spare.

LB Adongo promoted to active roster per Stampede Blue.  Probably says something about how poorly others are valued at this point but it's gonna be interesting to see how he does.  

Dec. 3, 2013: The Indianapolis Colts made several roster moves today on their off day.  They placed linebacker Mario Harvey and running back Daniel "Boom" Herron on injured reserve, promoted linebacker Daniel Adongo and offensive tackle Xavier Nixon to the active roster, and signed fullback Robert Hughes and defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton to the practice squad.
