If you keep heading south past Key Largo, look for the Islamorada Inn... its a dump on the right.  That's where my buddies and I used to stay when we did our dive trips...  A barely adequate place to rest the head for some shut-eye and dry out the equipment between diving and eating/drinking. cheerstoyou drinkbeer

This is going to be a short trip, just want to see a Florida Key, we'll rest there Sunday, snorkel on Monday morn, then head back north in the afternoon, if its as pretty as we hear it is, our vacation in May will be the entire Keys, might just book a flight from Daytona to Key West, then rent a car and spend a couple days at Key west, Marathon and Key Largo.

Our plan was to go to the game and then spend the night in Miami, but we kept hearing horror stories about miami, Key Largo is only 60 miles south, and the hotels were a bit cheaper, so what the hay, we are heading there.

Just snorke led over a Spanish ship wreck from 1751, makes you wonder if the capt was named Miguel. He sunk this ship in 10 feet of water
