Funny right now I am getting all those crappy HBO's and MAX for free on the Dish right now and decided to watch parts of the Rock and Roll HOF show.

I was surprised a couple weeks ago when I heard the old lead guitarist Roger Fisher for Heart talking on his cell phone to a Seattle talk radio channel and he said he was sitting in his tent at Lake Leland........which is down the hiway from me and I used to party there back in the day when they were the new band from Seattle......I almost drove down there.......but hell he is older than me

Funny, Magic..we are also getting HBO & Cinemax for free this week, and everyday they try to sell me the crap for "12.99" a month..I asked them to give me the Sunday Ticket free for the next five years and I would consider it..I mean they have my acct in front of them, my bill is 180 a month..And I hardly watch TV, and I dont have the fancy channels..

Yeah it sure would be nice if we just payed for the channels we want to watch every month so we could drop the price.

Every time I get these free weeks of HBO or Cinemax it just reminds me of why I never want to pay for that trash.

Not to mention all the extra costs they try to scam us with.

Hell I have had a HD tv since 2003 and still have never had a dish running with the channels I want in HD.

I have one of those HD receivers that I hooked up here and got the guide to load but didn't know wtf they would say if I called to turn it on since it belonged to somebody who left it in a rental we had several years ago and they never payed any bills because they never got one and then they moved to Idaho.

And it had the DVR which I don't need and will not pay a monthly fee to have.

And it was a nice dish but the damn thing was set up on 3 bricks and one day when I left it on my front porch pointed at the HD satellite we had too much wind and it tipped over and cracked the LNB so I don't think it works and never even tried again.

Every time they send me mail saying how they miss me @ DirecTV all I see is a scam in small text telling me about all this BS I will have to pay for.

So I still have the same old receiver I had the day I got my first lil dish  

First chance I get to set up another code breaker I will be getting my money back AND will pass the code on.

But for now I hope to get a good link tonight on the pc and if it is good enough I will plug the laptop in to the 82in DLP

We have HDTV and DVR on 2 tvs, right there is 30 extra, oh we want local tv there's another 20 for 4 tvs. And don't ask me why but she insists on a tv for the spare bedroom that gets used 3 weeks out of a year

Yup. 5 months out of the year thats my bill

Same here..............Got tvs in all rooms but the spare.
I have two tvs(46" and a 60") in 34`s that are right next to each other so I can watch my fantasy teams on the Sunday tix.......Bears on one tv and the fantasy team on the other.

And I too will not pay for the movie channels either.The wife-n-I wait till they give it away free and then record what we want.I don`t watch alot of movies and still have movies recorded from last winter that i have not seen................but I can`t wait for Django Unchained tho.
