Nah I don't have to give him any money......he just screws with my medical setup (along with the ugly broad running this State)

But I will drop a message to him next weekend when i will see him at the 1st Annual Scott Stage Golf Outing.Scott was one of my best buddies of all time. He died of a heart attack at the age of 51.

Ok, bro- Chips go out with the morning mail. It's possible you'll have 'em by Saturday, but I wouldn't make a special trip into town just for that, I'd wait until Mon or Tues.

I got chips from =SA= today.........you would think a multi-millionaire author wouldn't have to put those $1's in the envelope but he must have to pay the editor quite a bit lol

(It's Samson not "Sampson" Craigster)

The county has to close our road for maybe just a day because they are putting in a new culvert where my creek crosses the road and they are goofy and slow at this so the chances of me walking 9 miles each way to my post office are mighty slim indeed.

I just drove by them and they are actually building this temp. walking bridge over the creek so people can walk down this county road while they put the culvert in......hate to see an ambulance having to get on my end of the road since we have 9 houses on this end and most of them are old timers.

But I just payed a couple bills while I was at the post office but since I didn't have more than $300 in my pocket the insurance company will have to wait......but it is due on Sept. 1st so they should have the road fixed by then wink

Ah my BC brothers I must say that this time of year when I make the drive to the post office some of you really make my day since I really don't drive much these days even though I have 4 cars

Norm is always like me if I was actually going to mail something and he types it out on a piece of paper with his *chips*

And the captain of the BC Ark aka Noah the Arkman is always fast sending em in from Georgia

And our President Garth aka Mighty_Colts gets his in fast this time and yeah brotha I write the same way with a pen and paper these days since I have been on a computer since 1998 and only use a pen to sign my name paying bills and visiting the bank

Now the reason I just made that drive to the post office (yeah I always type a long fucking tale)
was to fill my gas tank in the Chrysler because for the first time in decades I am making a drive across the floating bridge and riding the ferry both ways to take my son to visit my Dad while he is still with us and as I said I don't drive much anymore and this is not like driving to the bank or post office for me.

And I also had a phone message from my Uncle saturday who thought of me because he was watching the Seatoucans vs Peyton Manning and he remembers that Peyton is on my favorites list and I used to watch Colts games with him in the 60's when it was Unitas to Berry and Jones to Carr

Found out he lives only 15 miles north of Dad so I am going to see if I can find his house since he lives in a city now (he is 84 and my aunt is 90)

You all know I am a "noon guy" so getting up at 7am will not be easy and it also will be a miracle if I get my kid up and ready to go at 9am and now he lives on the hill in Port Ludlow (I am in the valley) so he is only 5 miles away and I think I can find where he is living now.

This will be a LONG day for your Treasurer (yeah I will carry my nitro's with me)

I probably should have the wife with me but she is guarding the kingdom while I am gone and my "step-mother" is the type that likes you when you are there and talks shit after you leave.

Of course she could never back it up.......you know me and well the wife is a famous ship builder of the past so it is hard to top her.

Ok the wife just made a trip to the post office to get our mail and brought me back a couple enevelopes with *Chips* inside.

So let me start off by saying thanks for getting them in on time again Drew and I like your banker style and will probably keep that for myself

AND NEXT we have this Bear from Chicago who must have got robbed at gun point as he was about to put his envelope in the mail box or at his post office.

Do any of you notice something a bit strange at the upper righ-hand corner of this envelope???

(if not you get -5 on your regular season points)

Yes people Barry did NOT even put a damn STAMP on this envelope and I can't believe they even sent it this far and a close look at it tells me they didn't just fall off and there is no sign of anything on that corner at all

To top it off the wife did not even bring any money with her and the post office wanted 66 cents before they would give her said envelope.

It cost more because instead of just wrapping a piece of notebook paper around it he used a 2011 Cubs schedule magnet which btw the *Chips* had slid out of it so the entire trip it could have been seen having Federal Reserve Notes in it and stolen by the many hands that touched it or a USPS machine could have grabbed that magnet and who knows what would have happened ( edited after the advice of my former CIA friend )

SO....she had to go back out to her car and take those 66 cents out of a stash in the car belonging to our grandaughter

Good thing I am not Miguel because just imagine wtf I would be typing here right now.

Lets just hope that the rest of you have mastered the skills of sending mail via the USPS since Benjamin Franklin was appointed the first postmaster general in 1775
