Any body have a heat pump?

This is my very first time with one, and I HATE it..I turn the heat on to take the chill out, and warm air comes out, it shuts off, 20 minutes later it comes on and freekin ice cold air comes out..If my AC is this cold we wont have a problem but for heating this place it SUCKS.

Have never had a heat pump in my life, and its a nice unit, a Trane, but Im thinking Im going to replace it, when I put on heat, I want heat, not heat, then 1 minute later cold air..

Got a fireplace? Convert it to propane gas then fire that up to take out the chill. That's what my sister does here at her place. Works very well.

I do have a fireplace, I used it once and it reminded me how miserable I was up north the past two years, I took a birch tree from a friend, and dam I dont miss cleaning the mess..And the pieces of wood that are too big, Im throwing in the neighbors yard.

About as much as we want to hear from the guy that moved to Florida, posts pictures of a bloated whale floating in a pool drinking a beer, and pics of another pair of said mammals jumping into said pool while drinking beer while the vast majority of the rest of us are stuck indoors looking out the windows at cold, dreary snow covered lawns and outdoor thermometers reading single digits...

Misses gets out of work at 12:30, we'll be at the beach by 1:30 with my red solo cup..83 today, winter is over!!!

Convert the fireplace to propane gas burning. Clean and provides you warmth when needed. Certainly not a huge investment. OFF TO THE BEACH!!

Dont need the Caribbean, when we have water like this...What A Day, started off with a couple bloody marys, then breakfast, then all morning and day at the beach.
