Yep, a sunny day in Washington and Oregon is a big deal
I'll have to look it up, but I think that each year, there are a total of 5 sunny days in Washington and Oregon......combined

Checkin' in at 9:18 am here, in Indy. 26 degrees outside. Its so balmy I'm prepping to go out for a nice walk. Its true! To me, nothing like getting bundled up and taking a walk on a nice crisp morning. Well, not as nice as getting up and going for a cruise on the pontoon at 80, or preppin' to get wet 80 feet down in the Keys or south Caribbean... but I digress...

Re: FREEZIN' Your Ass Off???
Cravn, be thankful for the "freeze". It'll take out some of the mosquito "nests" thereby reducing the number you'll see in July. As for me ... 10 days and I'll be on the beach on the gulf - there thru April 7!!!

Re: FREEZIN' Your Ass Off???
Another pretty nice day here.........sunny and we haven't had the heat on much lately.
I do need to go out to my storage and haul in 7 bags of wood pellets since it will probably rain tomorrow if I don't
I can see a little breeze out there so it probably isn't all that warm in the shade but it is over 50 right now
If my UPS truck shows up real soon we are going to take a drive to the city and do the usual shopping and munching
Edit: WOOOOO HOOOOOO just a second after posting that I start to get up to put my laptop away and I see the UPS truck coming up the driveway with my package from TigerDirect
I just opened the box and brought the new 4 GB of DDR2 Ram upstairs and shut down this pc and plugged in the new Ram and rebooted and here she is another step to sort of being a modern pc
The next 2 steps won't be quite that fast since I have to install the new 850watt energy efficient power supply which of course means unplugging that old one and then plugging in the new one with the fancy new cords and these don't fit inside the box so like the other 3 I rebuilt they are glued to the top of the box (also helps keep the inside of the box stay cooler) but these X4 Ultra PSU's run cool anyway.
Then install the new GeForce 650Ti OC'd video card and that means a quick updating of the box so it will fit and I lay the anti-static plastic that it came with under it because on this old motherboard the card plugs in at the bottom about 1/8th of an inch from the metal on the bottom of the box.....I know how you all love this geek talk
So power supply next and then video card since it is the reason you need a 850watt PSU
THEN put it to work for the Einstein Project with the new GPU processors.
Ahhh....I can't wait to reboot with the install finished.

Well I updated another one last night and after all the fun of installing the drivers and then messing around with the clocks settings and voltage a few times and watching with the GPU-Z and the EVGA Precision X my addition of this EVGA GeForce GTX 650Ti SSC it looks like it is ready to get to work and get the best times for the BRP X2
