Re: RIP Earl of Baltimore
He had a big voice for such a little guy.
"You ain't goin' nowhere".
"Neither are you".
"If you do it again, I'll knock you right in your nose".

Yes he did, we have classic memories from Earl, only Manager that would smoke in the dugout during games.

Re: RIP Earl of Baltimore
Yeah that was back in the good old days of pro sports.
I always liked watching the Birds back in the 60's and 70's as long as they weren't playing my Yankees I even wanted them to win
They even had Reggie Jackson for a season (1976)
Re: RIP Earl of Baltimore
Reggie....lol
What a joke he was....Didnt need him we had Earl, Frank, Brooks and Cal
HOLY SHIT, I have them on autagraphed baseballs...
No joke, one day in the early 90's Frank drove by in a blue corvette, while Drew was playing little league..YOU dam tootin I chased Frank for an autograph, got it too..
I also took Drew to see Earl Weaver at a signing, just to give him a history lesson...

Re: RIP Earl of Baltimore
Reggie Jackson had a Orioles record until last season so I guess he was pretty good even as a Bird.
Of course the next season was even better for the WS Yankees and his 3 HR's off 3 different batters and each one off the first pitch!!!
Yankees > Birds.....and all the rest combined
Re: RIP Earl of Baltimore
Yanks got some history, dont they..I got a couple of nice siggys from guys you might know..The Mick, Joe and Yogi and of course my prize Arod
