The olympic atheletes that win medals are taxed on the gold & silver they return with..Im pretty sure the Olympic Committee picks up the tab, but what a crock of shit.

The least you could do would be to make your next move be to the hometown of a female swimmer.

My next move is to the Volusia County Creamatory..After we settl we have to load a truck again and move and unpack a mile away.
And my youngest wants to go back north, hes going back in 3 weeks for a few days, if he can land a place to live, we'll be doing this move on our own.

Re: From the "Bet ya didnt know this" file
Well if they have to pay that much then they are getting ripped off , cause gold medals arent " real gold" last gold medal to be given was in the 1912 olympics, basically its like this
•Gold and silver medals are 92.5% silver.
•Gold medals must be plated with at least 6 grams of gold.
•All Olympic medals must be at least 3 mm thick and at least 60 mm in diameter.

Yeah it is like those commercials selling the gold coins of the past like the buffalo and they say how perfect it is and how the gold looks and then try to hide the part where they say it is some cheap metal with a mil. coat of gold worth about $1
....but you can buy one today for ONLY $19.95.....only 5 coins per customer
