I was playing some basketball last night

I am in awe of how you defeated that crushing opposition, fighting your way through the paint filled with hardcore defenders, whose single goal in life is to prevent your date with Destiny. Your Fate.


That video was the single most awe-inspiring example of Destiny I have ever witnessed.

I think the way he faked the defender so bad he was 3 feet away as he went up for the thunder slam was the most impressive part of the post move...

Watch how Magic grabs the rim with his Magestic Fist and bangs it up and down after his Thunder Slam.


Magic does NOT need to "jump" to SLAM.


All he needs to do is simply stand there, and that's because he is EPIC.


And if you are EPIC, then you SLAM THE RIM without having to jump.



So Kurt......you and I better sit-tight on the Bench while Magic does his Thing on the Rim (and on YouTube).

Well ya know we are pretty much the same age and the party times here usually had me there or starting the party BUT I loved playing basketball and always skipped class in HS to pratice and then when I was out of school the same thing.

Party and play basketball !

I was a tall skinny guy until I started lifting weights almost daily so I could put up with all the red-neck jackasses that would be at the gym trying to stop the tall guy with the long tied back hair from making them all look like fools.

THAT was half the fun too.

I was such a deadly 3 point shooter that I made game winners all the time on those bastards and on some of the college and some NBA players from the area.

The local punks hated it when I beat them every game and the college guys were just shocked that the guy with the long dreadlocks would make those shots and play "Magic" tricks on them and those tricks worked over and over until I was 41 and went on the perma-IR

The main thing is you have to be a real good shooter to play vs the gym rats and then add things like passing and fake-passing like I did.

I find it funny watching college and pro's on tv and the announcers acting like most of the plays are amazing.......stuff I did thousands of times and never made a penny doing it.
