So long Peyton and thanks for the memories.... it was a pure joy to watch the best QB to ever play here in Indy.

I hope Jimmy knows what he is doing... because if Luck isn't the real deal then he is going to have Colts fans 2nd guessing him for the rest of his life.

I'm hoping this is JI's final decision as owner. I get why he's (supposedly) making the call. Neither Grigson or Pagano should have to be the one to make that decision as their first move in their respective positions. Talk about turning the fans against you...

Jimmy can do it, then step back and let his new hires take it from there.

And 2shock, I'd like to amend one of your comments, if you don't mind... it was a pure joy to watch the best QB to ever play, play here in Indy.

Jimmy laid out a ton of money last year (26 million) on Peyton on the come. Now. Peyton is apparently expecting another very large outlay on the "hope" he'll be able to play. I don't understand why he's unwilling to strike some sort of deal with Irsay. I know I wouldn't lay out 28 million on "hope". Gonna be interesting to see the evolution of the Colts over the next few years.

I know, you were friends, delivered packages, and babysat for some other dude. I'll give you equals. No way anyone can say one is/was better than the other. Different eras, different rules, different games, different teams. Different opinions.

I almost feel sorry for Andrew Luck..... First he has to come in and follow a legend.. AND he has to come in and do it in an offense where the cupboard is going to be pretty bare.

Wayne is gone, garcon is gone.. Tamme is gone, Saturday most likely will retire (come on he ain't sticking around without #18) Not going to be much to work with on offense... and probably not the defense either... I could see another 1-15 or 2-14 year next season for the Colts pretty easily.

Haven't really looked at the schedule, but I'll be an optimist and call for 5 wins.
