well its finally over with

My Mother finally lost her fight with cancer after 6 years at 12:20 am......Its been a tough last three weeks for us but even tougher for her.
I`m just totally happy that her suffering is finally over.
She will be missed,but never forgotten........

Same happened to my Mom on February 15th of last year and since I was within a couple miles of her for 53 years I still think about it every day.
Strange thing was the last day I saw her was on Valentines Day she looked younger than me and even though her eyes were closed I could tell she could hear what I said to her before she was gone a few hours later.
Maybe our Moms can get together and be with their parents and talk about their kids that are still here.

Some would say things like "She's in a better place" or "the suffering's over", etc. While these may be true, that doesn't do away with the fact that she's no longer with you and that fact can take a long time to reconcile. My thoughts are with you and your family as you move forward.

Tough day, Barry. Lost my Dad on Labor Day, 2002. As with the others, I think of him daily.

Thanks guys.........Its a horrible thing to watch your Mother gasp for her last breath of air.
I had to go and identify the body today,which was no fun task.
My Dad and couldn`t do it.

I always told the wife that the number 34 would pop up somewhere in my life that would mean something.I always thought it would be some type of jackpot.I sure hope this wasn`t it.
