Should be fun. My son, Noel, is flying down from Portland, OR to spend 5 days and we're going to some spring training games (Yankees in Tampa, Phillies in Clearwater, and a Pirates game in Bradenton (all within an hour drive). He's already got the tickets.

Been there. My brother has a 3-week time share in Fort Myers right on the bay. I don't think there's really a "bad" spot on the Florida gulf coast once you get south of Tampa.

This is a gift from Dad, he also left us 3 weeks but with it being so close to Christmas we only took a week and we gave 2 weeks to his widow..

My Dad bought that Time Share in 1969 at Kahula Beach..Its one of the things that led to the divorce of he and my mom..That and he came home one day from work and sprung on my mom, hey I quit my job at Social security, and going to work on something called "computers" bounce

But if you ever get that South on your month vacation, Over the bridge out of Ft Myers on the left, theres a Seafood place called Pinchers, I really really really recommend you stop in and try it.

Looks cold there too..I need to see leaves, palm trees, Christmas shop in flip flops and shorts..Wake up Christmas and take a dip in the pool.

Dont want to see snow, oil trucks, ear muffs, scarves..God damn it somebody buy this place!!!

HEY....there's no snow in the yard and that is a palm tree!!!

But then it was about 50 degrees lol

So far so good but winter has only been here a couple weeks.
