Ive sold and bought off ebay for the past 12 years, baseball & football cards, holiday barbies and beanie babies..

I have been buying the hell out of silver on ebay since the summer, just hope the forecasters are right and it goes to 250.00 an ounce.

You'll have to open a PayPal account, its legit. Its as honest as sending chips 3000 miles across the land.

Never had paypal either but I see it mentioned all the time like when goofballs bet each other on the espn boards)

I have been very close to buying cars on Ebay the last few years (Rolls Corniche and looking at Oldsmobiles for another 1970 like mine)

How can you get a good deal on Ebay?

I'm sticking to collecting Ben Franklins since I don't believe the Federal Reserve notes will go away in my lifetime and can't imagine going to the store or gas station to buy stuff with silver and gold bars lol

Do you get bars or coins?

Coins look cool but the only way I would collect them is if somebody gives em to me.

Hell with the old Colts stuff you have that is better than gold if you live in Maryland laughing

eBay is a horrible place to buy silver , they usually sell for $5-6 over spot, an then they tack on $5 shipping ! I have started to sell things all over eBay , making good profit
Bought these little NFL Dallas cowboy figures from 1983, got em for $2 from this liquidation store , they are selling for $43 each +3.99 online , Been making great profit !

With that being said I'll take ATL -11 as a BB

I have a wonderful idea...how about the only posts in this thread are actual game picks? Wouldn't that be neat? And wouldn't it make it easier for the poor schmuck who has to go through all the posts? Just a thought... Rolling Eyes

Well it's halftime for the Thursday game and we have only 3 members officially picking this one.

27-0 so far so I know Drew is happy so far just like me.......and the Hustler is hoping for a 2nd half miricle.

I have my ale glass in the freezer but will leave the game winning ale in the fridge until it is a guarantee win tonight

The NFL Network does a nice job once again too.

Ok final score 41 - 14 Atlanta for a thursday point for Drew and one for me and nothing for the Hustler

Who will get tempted to pick the saturday game now?

Ok Drew I guess I better go have that Samuel Smiths Nut Brown Ale that is waiting for me.

Do not listen to Drew, you have to be picky at what you buy, and it dosent matter I have silver bars, and American Eagles. Theres a method to the madness, shipping over 2.50 I let go, after all its only an ounce, I usually bid on items in the 1.00-2.50 range and I also like to bid on items that end in the middle of the night, I dont bid on items that end on the weekend, afterall thats when folks are up..And maybe drew bids on items that are higher than spot but I dont, see I said he took after his mother...When silver was 49.00 an ounce I was getting it at 38.00 to 42.00..

RULE CLARIFICATION: This is the first weekend where there's a Saturday game (in addition to a Thursday game). In this case, you may pick the Thursday game for a best bet and defer your other picks until after that game completes (if you want the Thursday game to be in your parlay then you must pick ALL five games -- 2 best bets and a 3-team parlay -- before the kickoff of Thursday's game).

Basically, the same rule applies to the Saturday game. Whether or not you've picked a Thursday game as a best bet, you can choose to pick a Saturday game as a best bet (either as your first best bet or your second one if you picked a Thursday game). As with the Thursday game, you can pick a best bet for the Saturday game but you must post that before kickoff of the game. If you want to include that bet in your Parlay then you must pick the entire parlay and both best bets before the Saturday game kickoff.

SUGGESTION: Get all of your picks in before the Saturday game kicks off. That would be the easiest thing to do!
