Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
From Delta to Deltona..I guess that makes sense. Step outside the box, Cravn. Think big! Maybe really take a risk and try some place like, oh, I don't know, let's say... Daytona!

They have been giving them away pretty much, my parents bought a nice ranch over by Tampa for $50 k that was only about 5 years old.

Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
A few southern States are warm enough to play all year and some don't have a hurricane every year too.
I know a guy who lives in Atlanta and he is always playing golf.
And another guy in SW Texas says he has never seen snow or cold weather.
Maybe even San Ant......maybe when EsEy gets off his book tour in Waco he can tell us about the golf spots in Texas.
My Dad lives in Yuma AZ and plays golf all winter in warm weather.
Of course he moves back up here in the summer since Yuma gets over 115 degrees in August.

I would probably love SW Texas...... Good hunting there as well... Lots of wild hogs.... Hmmmm My Aunt and Uncle live around Orange texas, but thats over by the Gulf... I don't know if Hurricanes would be my thing or not.

Don't know about that one...... Got 3 bulging discs and a torn rotator cuff right now. My time in the filed has pretty much come to an end.

Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
I will get it taken care of, just not right now!
I hate hospitals, Dr's, Needles, scalpels, bedpans, the smell, sick people, etc, etc....
I am going to try the physical therapy first and see what that does. If it doesn't work then I will do the surgery as the last possible resort.

tsk tsk tsk... all that pain and discomfort. PT is nothing more than a band-aid.

Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
I hated needles too, I always had this feeling that when the needle was taken out my vein would come with it!!! Now I just stare at the nurses tits when they are injecting me...
And about the IT job, sitting is probably the worst thing you could do for a spine.
Kurt is correct pre ops therapy is a band aid, and its costly, my wife injured her back last year, she went to therapy 3x's a week 175.00 a visit, its a fucking racket they just want your dollar..Now post ops therapy is necessary..

Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
if you want to play golf when your older, better take care of your back problems now.
My Dad is 70 and loves the game, but there are times when his back goes out of commision because of his back swing. Then he`s done playing 4-6 weeks because of it............And he HAD back surgery back in the early 90`s........And this coming from me who needs glasses cause my eye sight is failing me.
I guess I should practice what I preach.........
just saying.

Re: I need to move somewhere warm.
Well when you become an old timer with a bad back I can give you golf tips
Nobody putts and swings the wedge with one hand as good as I do
Yeah therapy is bs unless you don't have disc problems.
I had all the therapy bs and shots and they did nothing other than making money for the doc I went to.......I didn't have to pay so that was the only good thing.
