PLEASE! Double-check your selections and let me know of any errors before kick-off. There's a chance, with all of the data entry, I made an error. Yep! Can you imagine that? Me, admitting to making an error. Hell, the only error I've ever admitted to in my life was reading SA's TBWT!
LOL, you know, bad publicity, is good publicity. My proudest accomplishment was to get you to read it
Seriously, thanks for all the effort you put into the BC. Hell, you don't have a libido at your age so you might as well stay busy doing something...

Re: Super Bowl Results and FINAL STANDINGS
I managed to find this weekly bookie challenge review from the fall of 2003 (week 12 that season).
[Editorial note: This week's edition of the Bookie Challenge review is, once again, a product of BlueShoes' prolific pen.]
OK, guys. Bear with me here...this is not rocket surgery! With 18 Challenge players, there is a total of 90 points to be garnered each week. Got that? That means we should be lookin, on average, at somewhere around 45 points for the Challenge field total. Don't you think? Not! Two weeks ago, we registered 11 points. Last week we got 10 points! This week this motley crew of pickled, poor, purported prognosticators scored a total of........11 points! SHEESH!!!!! WTF is going on here?? None of the division leaders scored a point -- half of the Challenge players fell into this infamous category! Maybe too much tryptophan??? Listen up, you dregs!! That's not supposed to come until you all have your turkeys on Thursday!! Oh...my bad! There's been nothing but turkey around here for the last three weeks! That's the only explanation. {shrug}
PAYTON3_4NO1 (aka Barry the Hammer) hit the week's only GOOSE EGG and, given his GOOSE EGG last week, can become the first player in Challenge history to record 3 GOOSE EGGS in a row in a single season. All together now....Go, Barry! Go, Barry! You da man!
The FRESH divisional lead was snapped up by rookie coveman with two best bets (Det, Phl). Another record, of sorts, was set when the FRESH divisional leader, jcvike28, pushed on all three of his parlay picks (Tenn/NYJ/Ind). I suspect the bookies made out alright this week what with all the pushes. BigDrew630 (another freakin' rookie!!!) also hit on both of his best bets (Phil, Cin).
The Thanksgiving Day games offer an opportunity for Challenge players to close up some gaps in the standings and pick up 4 extra points! Marvelous will be posting the spreads late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Everyone will be required to play the two Thanksgiving Day games. The Thanksgiving Day Special will require all participants to straight bet both games and select a 2-Team Parlay. As usual, ONE POINT will be awarded for each winning best bet off the straight line. TWO POINTS will be awarded for a winning 2-Team Parlay. An over/under line will be posted along with the regular straight line and parlay line for the two Thanksgiving Day games. A 2-Team Parlay will consist of one pointspread pick off the parlay line (either game) and one over/under selection (either game). So, pay attention, you turkeys!!! For many of you, this will be your last chance to pick up the slack! Spreads for the weekend games will be posted late Friday and normal pick rules will apply. There will be a "mini-review" on Friday reflecting the Thanksgiving Day results.
And, now, with apologies to Edgar Allen Poe:
THE CHALLENGE
Once upon a weekend dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over all those straight and parlay spreads for the week's BC picks -
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping - someone rapping, playing tricks.
"'Tis just Marvelous," I muttered, "trying, failing, playing tricks -
Only this while laying bricks."
And so this week's BC review is once again passed onto "Blue"
Relief -- relief for Marvelous who's lately throwing fits.
Last three weeks? They've hardly mattered! Challenge has been truly battered,
With players left all worn and tattered -- tattered, whipped and torn to bits.
Yes all Challenge players tattered, clipped and whipped and torn to bits -
Face it guys, we've got the sh!ts!
Ah, I ask, do you remember, way back in that bleak September,
When each separate BC member bragged of points sure to be won?
Eagerly we wished the morrow; - vainly we e'n sought to borrow
Picks from RIPPL, but came sorrow - sorrow when the games were done -
For the rare and seldom PERFECTA's we all truly sought, were none -
Few have been lucky to get point, one.
And just where is Melissa Stark, man? (I'd sure take her to the park, man.)
I hear she's craving Noah's arkman -- loves to ride those waves off shore.
He's lost his lead in TESLA division, having made his big decision,
Made his picks, made no revision-- but this week NO points did score!
Cravn's in first, just by a hair! Still, screams the man near Baltimore,
"Pick the Colts? No! Never more!"
FRESH division members peering, must have stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, picking teams no mortal ever dared to pick before;
jcvike's lead has now been broken, coveman now holds first place token,
And mighty's words, best left unspoken, hint of trailing just by four.
But since silent birdie's choices did this week but one point score --
FRESH is truly fresh no more.
LACEY JANE showed minor action -- BigDrew finally got some traction,
And dblshockpwr trimmed BlueShoes' lead to three.
G-Mole found no points were lurking; learned his Mo-Jo's still not working!
Just whose chain is that man jerking? Is it "WE FLEE!", not "WE SEE!"?
While viking fan from San Anton in last place loudly slaps his knee -
Never more in first will this man be!
Marvelous - found sitting lonely, atop COROZAL speaking only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he does outpour.
"Dregs!" "You cretins, I'm your master! Except for me, this is disaster!"
Someone better move up faster. Lest COROZAL become lore,
With a name change, what do you think: "Marvelous and those other four"?
Can you do this? I think nevermore!
And so be sure on this Thanksgiving to give thanks just to be living --
Alive and breathing, feeling and enjoying gifts life offers and much more.
Find the little things enjoying. Find big things not so annoying.
Let your heart not be destroying all that stands outside the door.
Count your blessings, help another, and take some time to kneel on floor.
Lest He whisper "Nevermore".
It's been real. See you in four weeks!

Awesome! I do miss the weekly recaps. Don't miss Miguel, but his rants were classic! Perhaps we should consider bringing that back next year.
By the way, speaking of next year, I've already broken the ice with getting the son involved next year. Son-in-law is next...
