Well, schools are closed for tomorrow already. The evening news has now spent 20 min. telling us about the ice already here and the snow coming. They're calling for 10"+ here. We've got reports on the bread, eggs, and milk being sold. How D batteries are becoming a hot commodity...

I'm pretty sure the sky will begin breaking up and falling any minute now...

Next few days will be pure hell in every insurance agent's office. Great. Everyone else gets the day off... I get to prove my worth. clap

Yeah the best part of watching the weather report across the country is the blizzards cover all the central and north central States and the NE

Here we get sunshine and 50 degrees lol

I was outside planting another sequoia and digging weeds out of one of the 100000 flower patches here and out digging gravel and sand out of my creek.....tossing bread to the fish and "wild" mallards sunny

As soon as I go buy a gallon of gas for the new chainsaw I will be out cutting down a couple trees!

Still have 14 bags of wood pellets left from this winters ton (50 bags)

You can keep that frozen hell and those exploding manhole covers I saw exploding out of the street in Indianapolis on the news http://www.wthr.com/story/13934388/manhole-covers-explode

Looking at the radar right now, there's a slim chance we'll get only rain with the ice and snow passing north of the county. Fingers crossed.

Have an inch + of ice right now. Winds of 20+. Calling for another 1/2 -1 inch of ice overnight.

Hope the power stays on... that ice is heavy...

Make that 35 mph winds... lights flickering. This is going to suck big-time... sucks Rolling Eyes wtf

Yeah we got ice yesterday, and once again PA dropped the ball, as their salt trucks stayed in their barns, yours truly wound up in a corn field, not by choice either..Power was out for 6 hrs yesterday, some knucklehead from the nuke plant thought it was just rain and flipped his truck and took down 2 poles..The bad thing was, the rescue company took 1hr & 15 minutes to get to him..

I cant figure out what the helkl its doing out there this morning, but I'll give it 1 valiant effort in 15 minutes, If I dont get out..Fuck'em..

Looks like it rained last night at some point, because this morning, everything has a solid slick coat over it. I'll guess I have 2" of solid ice covering everything. Very slick. Calling it a day already. Getting some snow - supposed to get an inch - maybe that will allow for some traction.

I know one thing... if the wind dies down, I'll be out back on my skis. This should make for some great xc skiing!
