Do you supposed 40 mallards in my pond is enough?

Not sure what they plan on doing when winter gets here but they stop by several times a day and act like they are stealing this magically appearing sunflower seeds.....even at 3am they stop by!

I give them a gallon jar full of seeds every day........must be the healthiest ducks on the planet

(I'm watching them from my window upstairs right now)

Get them thing out of there, Ducks can kill a pond with their poop, and your pond is not that big, they could seriously kill your fish with the amt of poo they leave over a season.

This flock of youngsters fly away even when they see me move around in the house so it isn't as easy as you might think to shoot at them.

They act like they are sneaking in and stealing seeds from me every day.

Bird Bombs...... They are 12 ga shells that explode when they hit the ground... made especially for scaring off flacks of birds for farmers.

Well it looks like I have about 23 still landing (doing Duck Belly-Flops) into the pond looking for those Magical sunflower seeds every day.

The last several times I have been tossing several hands full out onto the water since they float for quite a while and the fish can eat em too if they like.

So when the ducks crash land in the water the zip around eating the floating seeds and several girls run on the grass since they know there is even more food there.

They get in such a tight group when they eat I can't count them from upstairs window.

I need a better camera that will zoom in better (my video cam does) because if they see me move in the house they ALL jump and either crash back in the pond or take off to the wetlands across the street.

20+ full grown mallards are like a cloud when they all take off at once.

Only Tony and Sarah are still sort of tame and all of them fly off when they see or hear anything so maybe they will get away from the duck killers

CRAP.......I look away for a second and they are all gone!

But they just did a loop back over me on the way back to thier nests......they better head south unless they like seeds covered in snow and cold ice on the pond!

23 Ducks in a pond..Hmmmmmm

50 lbs of carrots
100 pounds of potatoes
50 pounds of celery
25 pounds of Onions
Bunch of Chicken bouillon cubes
Salt & Pepper
