$8,800 ?????

Some asphalt guy stopped by and at first just talked us into paving the circle behind the house for $4800 and as soon as they finished he had to tell me how I could get a great deal to let him do the other 275ft down to the gate for $4000

Of course saying it is the best price in the world and all that.

Ok one of you cats must know something about this bizz......is that a deal or lots of dough for this project?

Oh and of course I will have pictures as soon as they leave and we took "before" pic too.

Not sure what made this guy drive down a long gravel road and then up to my place thinking I would be rolling in the dough.

This is a dent in my Ben Franklin collection wtf

Heck I got the 275ft PLUS the circle behind the house with a 20X18 parking spot!

And he is sending one of his workers back tomorrow to clean up the gravel and stuff along the edges so I can mow without throwing rocks all over.

Well Craigers you should have sent one along with your *Chips* for my wife to read to see if it is good or not (free of course)

She does tend to read books like that (but by some world famous author)

I am just going by the cover of course.

No if you wanted me to read it you would have to write a non-fiction book that have to do with your experience with particle physics,astrophysics,or even theoretical physics smile

I took my first test drive on the driveway last night with the Jag but I don't trust the local UPS driver yet lol

And I let the wife park her car next to my Jag in the new 2 car parking spot.

The driveway goes down to a couple feet on the outside of the gate.

Wasn't going to tempt any of the local jackasses to pull in and turn around on my new pavement.

I will have to figure out if my mower/sweeper will pick up the loose gravel they left on the sides so I don't ruin the Deere blades.

Of course I have to watch out for a certain "quilt carrier" who likes to lay down on the driveway with those young chicks lol
