But just remember Mighty...... it's not the fault of the "big, Bad, Unions" We are just the current fall-guys..... only 7-10% of the private workforce in the USA is organized at this point, To be honest they just don't have the market share to take the blame... unfortunately most of the time folks think Union and they think UAW... I don't get a morning break OR an afternoon break... I don't get paid holidays, and I coulld walk onto the job tomorrow and get laid off with no warning whatsoever. State and city workers here get paid shit.... it's why I have turned down the building inspectors job about 5 times in the last 10 years. I work hard, I am VERY good at what I do and I get paid well to do it.... thats the way America is supposed to work right? Too many people raped the system... Indy was one of the first cities to go the privatization route under Steve Godsmith and it has been a HUGE failure here.... Our trade is very self-sufficient, we handle our own healthcare benefits, our own pension and annuity plans, fund and operate our own training center.... the unions being greedy etc... was the rallying cry a while back for shipping American jobs overseas.... but now it's EVERYBODIES job that is going overseas... Did you know when you get Xrays and MRI's etc now-a-days they are emailed to India and Pakistan and reviewed there and the results emailed back to your Dr.? But they still charge you like they were done here... The whole Union busting deal is sham for globalization of the worlds economy and to drive the wages in the USA down, instead of everybody else striving to rise up to our level. The day they sent the first job to Mexico, China, Indonesia etc was the end of the middle and upper middle classes of America.

The whole privatization sham is another laugher... city and state employees don't make NEARY as much as their counterparts do in comparable positions in the private sector.. so how in the world can the private sector do it cheaper when they are paying MORE for people to do the SAME job? PLUS they are also paying the private contractor a nice tidy sum in his bid price to do the work? Indy is a very good example of this.... privatization actually got off to one of its biggest starts right here... and the city is short an estimated 50 million I beleive of course there are other factors added in there... I actually hate BOTH political parties with a passion these days though... they are the ones selling everybody down the river, it's traitorous to watch and observe.. Both parties sold us out long, long, long ago.... GHWB with his "thousand points of Light" and New World Order to Clinton giving Red China Most Favored Nation status... it's all a sham.. a dog and pony show... they all talk big out front of course, but behind closed doors it's a private club and Joe American isn't invited, and isn't allowed inside...

Wanna change America for the better? Get behind the "No Free Lunch" initiative (making it illegal and punishable by prison time for ANY elected official to take ANY money or gifts from any organization, corporation, PAC etc)and the Fair Tax initiative..... All our elected officials want to do is to keep these partisan issues and red herrings alive like they have for the last 75 years so they can keep stealing from us and lining their pockets... a UNITED populace is their sole biggest fear on the planet, because then the joy-ride is over and they will be held accountable..... career politicians are scum too.....

I think the last president we had that actually deserved our respect was Eisenhower, and if you read his farewell address to the nation much of what we see today, he warned about...

Privatization is more about benefits and payroll taxes than actual payroll. It is less expensive to contract it out and pay for those services than to carry people on the payroll.

State workers are NOT Union workers, even though they think they are..What kind of Union pays you wages, negotiates a piece of shit contract for the workers, then tells them the dont have the right to strike because they provide community service?? They need brass balls like the Teamsters have, we struck in the 80's and shut the entire country down, even had those pussies at FedEx crying they "couldnt handle the volume of packages"..Clinton had to step up the negotiations between UPS & the Teamsters..
