34`s new Poker Room
I finally got it done.(well almost.I don`t have a curtain for my closet.It used to be a shower.and i`m adding a 3rd plasma in this room).
so here are the pics I promised.
Where the red carpet was, there used to be a wall there I built back in 01" when I first started this project.I tore it down cause I had no more room for my "so-called hobby".
There was nothing but cinder block walls and started from scratch. I reframed the walls and added the Cedar paneling and had a friend put in the electricity.(And yes thats the wifes Coke on the table,I drink Bud light when I work)
Finished product.(don`t be lookin in my closet).
This Hamms light I got from a friends father-in-law for a 150.00....Got a steal. These go usually for 400-600 and sometimes more.
This is the Bud mirror i recieved with the frame split in the upper left hand corner. No it wasn`t the joint either.I paid an extra 80 plus a 10 spot tip,to have it reaired, sanded down and restained. It looks awsome. Can`t tell where the break was....YES!!
Another light I got from the same guy far 50.00.I seen one on Ebay go for 99.00.
Now I`ve started the Roulette Room, which all I`m doing is tearin down the old wainscotting and replacing it with the cedar wainscotting.
Then its time to build the bar.cant`s have a sports casino with out a bar.
So more pics coming up.

Re: 34`s new Poker Room
I love it! Especially the poker table. Nothing like having a nice cushion to rest your elbows on.
Also love the Hamm's signs. Land of sky blue water baby! I spent the summer with my grandparent in 1961. We used to listen to the Twins on the radio at night in a little room that overlooked lake Minnewaska. Every now and then the game would be on TV! That's when I watched the Hamm's commercials with that bear, dancing to the drum beat.
Thanks for bringing back some of my favorite memories ...

Re: 34`s new Poker Room
Very nice, sir!
Me thinks a roadie to the Chicagoland area may have to be entered on the calendar!
Are the Bears on the Colts schedule anytime soon? (or vice-a-versa, for you?)
