Rumor has it the Ravens are considering trade offers for Jared Gaither and that the Colts are one of the teams showing some interest. My guess is the Colts may come up with a trade offer of a 1st or second round pick slot for Gaither as the selections near the end of round 1.

Anyway, any impressions of Jared Gaither?

I didnt even have to click on the link and known it was a piece written by the Raven Ha8tr him self Mike Preston. That piece was written March 29th, thats the day Gaither showed up to the VOLUNTEER Workouts. He's working out now, without a contract, if thats not commitment than I dont know what is, Magic would you do your Quantuam Leaps for nothing??

Jerrad Gaither is a fucking beast at LT, I hope you understand that he is a LT and a LT only, he cannot play RT, or G..This is the only reason he is expendable, Michael Oher was drafted as our LT, but he has the versatility to play anywhere. so if a team would give us their 1st round pick(correcting your rumor Mr Norm) we would take it in a heart beat, considering we picked him with a 5th rd comp pick..How Gaither and Oher didnt make the Pro-Bowl is a mystery to me. The same Gaither that held Freeney in check the entire game in Baltimore.

I dont think teams will part with their #1 overall pick, thus the Ravens will sign Gaither long term, giving us a line as good as the Colts have..or had since they lost Lilja.

Trust me, the FO loves Gaithers style of play, and they are letting him test the FA market, but in the long run he'll remain a Raven.
