RIP Capt Phil

The only so-called "reality" show I watch, Deadliest Catch, the scruffy Capt from Seattle Wash has passed on, he suffered a stroke while his boat was being offloaded, has been in a coma for the past 3 weeks, and passed away late last night.

Yeah the wife woke me up and told me about that this morning.

We didn't know he was the same age as me.......hell he makes me feel younger.

I figured he wouldn't last long after the first time he was in the hospital during the show before.

My wife is trying to get me to go to Vegas to look at the last boat hull she made before she retired from that.

It's that pirate ship down at that famous hotel.

I actually climbed up on it when she was building it up here at the old shop in Port Townsend.

I'm not a "boat guy" so if not for her I would never have seen it or been down at the docks in P.T.

She also lived in Pelican Alaska before we met.
