Thats a sad story, Baltimore is re-comminishing the USS Comfort Its been out of commission since 03 when it came back from the Gulf..I wouldnt want to be anywhere near Haiti or Dominica right now. Deaths will be in the masses.

They were already feeding their kids pies made of mud before this earthquake. That has to be one of the saddest places on earth to be born......yet some people make it out of there and survive......Remarkable.

Blame their Gov't. it COLUD be a very beautiful place as well as Cuba could be also, if they would let the American dollar in.

It is a strange little place....
But of course Pat Robertson said yesterday that Haiti is the way it is because the whole country made a pact with the devil...
It is sad, but doesn't the island have the Dominican Republic too? I haven't heard if there was damage there as well. Pierre Garcon of the Colts has lots of family there I guess... So I hope he finds them OK.
I just hope the New Madrid never lets loose in our lifetimes here, it would make the ones we have seen on TV look like childs play, it would level almost every major city in the midwest, Indy, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville,Cincy, St. Louis etc would all be wastelands.
