Good grief it was cold this morning....and now they say we are getting 700 feet of snow starting in about 24 hours. If I was young and a sledder, I'd be in heaven...... as I'm merely a shadow of my former self, I'll order a couple of pizzas and hope they find me by spring time....... Ain't life good here in Indy..... Oh yeah, gas prices are suppose to go up to about 2.80 a gallon...... Still, things could be much worse............I could be in Iowa.............

Its also been colder than a witches tit here too.12 for a high with wind chill of 0...........damn it was cold taking the daughter to school.
Snow coming in later tomorrow........Hopin theres not much to it,but they have advisories out for tomorrow night.

Gas has been 2.79 here for a week now.........Isn`t that a kick in the nuts.
And to top that off,I drive a 4 door Dodge Ram that gets 12 city 14 highway...........

I have a sister in St. Louis who is suppose to be my weather alerter for this shit........she has been falling down on the job here lately.... Big breaking news if you're a baseball fan of any kind.......His ugliness, Randy Johnson is hanging up the glove......That duel with John Kruk in the All-Star game was funny as hell. I'm surprised Kruk didn't shit his pants right there...

I got to see the Randy before he made it to the majors. He pitched for Indianapolis which was a Montreal triple A farm team at the time. He threw 200 MPH but had no idea where it would go. Picture the Tim Robbins character from Bull Durham. My brother and I use to bet on things he might hit next and believe me, anything in the park was a target.....Ahhhh, the good old days.....

I dont know if you all are getting the winds that we are getting, theres a front that went thru last Friday and is parked off Maine, just sitting there..20-30 mph north winds, nothing will harden a nipple quicker than that..

It's winter, gentlemen... that's what its supposed to do!

I'm missing my first day of work due to illness today in 4-5 years. Voice is gone... running a temp, and feel like I just went 4 rounds with Floyd M. I'm old enough now to realize it pretty inconsiderate of others to go to the office runnng a temp (and spread it around). Used to be all about me and what I wanted to do. Sigh... gotta grow up sometime, I suppose.

I'll be well enough to fire up the sno-thrower a bit later when things calm down though. They're calling for 3-6 inches, I'll guess we get 5. I take pride in being the first guy on the block with the clear driveway and sidewalks. I know, its not much, but like 2shock so kindly pointed out... I'm an OLD-TIMER! (that's for you, 2shock... you whippersnapper!)

God Damn it, I was just at home depot, I knew I should have purchased that sno-blower Saturday..

Winter? All I heard was it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime and I know that's a lie........ If you're sick with a fever, why not pay some kids to do the snow removable and stay inside drinking hot toddies and relaxing? Old-timers shouldn't exert themselves in these fine heaven sent conditions....... But I'm sure you know what's best for you. I got no problem staying in until the weekend. ...or even longer if need be....

Don't worry CK, Floyd wouldn't fight you anyway, unless of course you submitted a hair sample and consented to ludicrous drug testing that isn't sanctioned by boxing.
