You know one of the HDMI projectors they sell now.... you can get one for about $250-$300 dollars and you can either buy the material to make the screen, get the special paint that makes the screen or just buy one already made..

But either way I could actually get a 120" picture for under a grand that way. hellyes

Have you watched anything on one before?? I don't like them at all. My wifes uncle has one that comes down out of his ceiling and it's a shitty picture. This guy is a surgeon and payed big money for it too.

really? My sister and broither in law put one in their basement and it looks really good, they used the paint. I wonder if that makes a difference?

I'm with Agent Smart here... not seen a projector that offered a picture half as good as my Sony.

Oh well.... if I decide I don't like it then I can just throw it on EBay and draw a picture of the Virgin Mary on it or something.. LOL

Absolutely not 2Shock..Unless you have a projection room. On a white wall with windows you will only see where there is no glare..The Mrs and I went to a resturant/bar to watch the early games, and they had the had the Colts/Titans game, I asked if they could switch the Colts game to another TV, the glare spot took the whole right side of the wall..Couldnt see scores of other games.

Just go buy that 72" Sony...

The farmers up the street turned an old small barn into their projection room, there are no windows and the projection wall is black..Now Nascar did look nice on that..But if you cant look at TV and look out the windows too? not for me..

I checked lots of versions of the projector but no matter which combo there was always some problem especially just using it in your livingroom.

Check out the latest Mistsubishi 82in DLP for $3000 w/free shipping.

They have had a couple sales since it came out too.

But it is the best when it comes to picture/size/and price.

I do swear by the Mitsubishi's I have had my old 46" rear projection TV for almost a decade now and it still works great.... but I am wanting to move it to my bedroom and get a widescreen for my main TV.

But 1K is all I am wanting to spend though...

I have a 65" Mitsubishi and love it. It's about 8 years old and it's good as new! Now I would have to say that the Samsungs are pretty good flat screen TV's as well.

My old 35in TUBE Mitsubishi still works perfect and the picture is great now matter what angle you look at it and it is 20 years old.

I actually gave it to my brother-in-law years ago and it still has no problem.

I have had my 67in rear projection Mitsubishi monster since 2002 and it never had a problem but it takes up 4 times the space of that new 82 inch DLP.

I have a 32in Sony in the bedroom.....if either of these died I would have that 82in DLP here ASAP

The only problem is you need a stand to put all the recievers in and I have hundreds of things on top of the monster rear projection tv since we moved it in the new house 7 years ago......not sure what I would do with all of that

My 5 yo 42" Sony in the LR is just plain outstanding! Best sound from a TV I've ever heard. DLP... IT ROCKS!!!!

A buddy of mine`s neighbor has a projection tv out in his yard........

he swears that at night the pic is great.But thats about it.daytime sucks,but for a cheap tv,not mso sure that wouldn`t be a bad idea...........
