I may never get over this.......the coach and president of the team told them winning isn't important, to not give their best effort with their best players. That is total bullshit. Is it any wonder the team does not do historically well in the playoffs? Hell, Manning could tear a muscle in his throwing arm warming up.......or sneezing.......you play all out all the time. Not doing so is how you get hurt. I missed a year of football and basketball in high school because of getting my knee hurt during a walk through drill. Freaky but shit happens. Even if they win the Super Bowl, they missed out on having a chance to be perfect and win the Super Bowl. It's too bad management thinks so little of that accomplishment. So I guess Manning's streak will be coming to an end since he won't be playing against Buffalo at all in order to guard against injury? After all, it only takes one play............Okay, I'm done now.

See, I've just come off of 4 days of constant joy, happiness, the need to be gracious, helpful, and be full of thanks. My crotchety old body can only take so much of that. I want dearly to hurt something or body right now. I need it for my mental health and stability.
