Learned that lesson awhile ago. If I'm going to do any extensive typing I do it in Notepad then cut and paste into the web page edit box.

Magic, that's an easy fix!!

Just remember to highlight everything you've typed, right click and click on Copy. Then go ahead and post your stuff. If anything goes wrong and your post doesn't go through, just open a new post and paste everything you just copied.....in other words, just a simple Copy and Paste. This kind of "backs up your work".

I do this almost all the time. It's a habit now and it has saved me many times. Otherwise you'll do this:

Yeah that is the way I have always done that (copy and paste before I post) but I use many different websites so once in a while I get typing and hit post before thinking about doing a copy........and as it is loading I even sometimes try doing the copy and paste which does work sometimes on espn but not here and the same on the Einstein Project and the Large Hadron Collidor Project so when I type out a long particle physics post and hit post before I copy it usually nails me with that blank page crap.

So I try to remember........like right now so I don't have to remember wtf I just typed here


It reminds me of the way I always have used outlook express to copy and save documents on all my machines.
