Uverse is the worst network know to man.

Was helping a family member over the weekend with their network and that thing so backasswards that it's not even funny.

If your network goes down you have to reset THE COMPLETE SYSTEM....... Cable and all and it take almost an hour or so to do it.


Comcast internet? Just unplug your router and the moden for 30 seconds and you are good to go.... can use your own modem and router, so you can add DDwrt firmware to the router (and REALLY open it up and make it work as well as the $600 jobs)


Uverse is in my humble opinion is complete and utter crap.

I've been fairly happy with Uverse, but I'm not doing anything very technical, either. When I got the bride a notebook with wireless card, the wireless was easy to set up.

My only complaint has been the television service. The picture will freeze up or go digitized on occasion. On on of the TV's the screen goes black - like the signal is completely gone, then comes back.
