Planets and Meteors
Well if your picks are good or bad you can still use this weekend to catch the meteor showers http://www.space.com/spacewatch/061208_night_sky.html
And also see 3 planets at the same time http://www.spaceweather.com/
Jupiter,Mars, and Mercury and the last time they were seen like this was in about 1923 (I think) and the next one will be 2053 so unless you are about 90 or going to be 90 or 100 years old I guess this would be the time

Re: Planets and Meteors
Magic I did get to see the planets last weekend. Very cool to look at through the Telescope.
I was going to give you a call last night around the start of the Seahawks game. Went outside and the whole sky was lit up with the Aurora Borealis. It was great.... They were dancing all over the sky in one spot and spiking up in other parts. Both of my girls got to see them so I'm glad for once that I had to take the damn dog out!!!!

Re: Planets and Meteors
Cool!
That sounds like quite the show.
I didn't get to see the planets last weekend since it was cloudy here
(didn't get to see the Aurora Borealis either)
It was raining just like you saw at the start of the Seatoucans game and different areas had the strong winds but it was ok here and nothing got destroyed at my place this time.
Our power didn't go off until the game was over for a couple hours here.
It is actually sunny here today but I didn't get up very early since I had to stay awake and make sure something didn't happen while I was sleeping.
Yeah you should have called........we could tell Seatoucan jokes
The 9ers kicked their asses.
