Fantasy Football
So, I have never really played except for one half assed league two years ago. This year I have officially trash-talked my way into a really serious league, with some nice money going to the winner. Anyone have any advice to offer a brother? My objective is just the same as it is here, pick the winners and don't suck. I have done that here to a degree, but this fantasy shit is intense.... Any intelligent offerings will be appreciated. Any bashes will be taken light-heartedly, and then the offerer can shove them up their respective ass. HAHA.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Fantasy Football
I have played a few times in the past and did pretty good until the playoffs when most of my players that got me all the regular season points weren't playing.......I remember T.O. making me lose the Title one year.
I always went for the best QB-WR combo I could get and the best kicker on a scoring team and then defense and then a TE that scored every week.
And a good RB or 2 always helps....and backups for when they have the week off.
Which means you really have to know the schedules so you don't get a couple weeks with most of your players sitting out.
Good luck Swanny

Re: Fantasy Football
I always tried to pick RB's early because they usually have more value in scoring. and if you grab the really good ones early enough you can put yourself in good trade positions when folks realize that RB's are the really consistant scoring threats in the majority of fantasy leagues.y Only carry 1 kicker as they won't make or break you if you have to go a bye week without their scoring.... also when you select your defenses make sure you get good ones with early bye weeks that way you can get rid of one of them early and then can add more depth off of the waiver wire for players...
And stay away from Ravens WR's since they don't get into the end zone much.

Great cruise... too short as are all vacations.
Key West was nice - snorkled and drank.
Cozumel was very nice. Got two dives in and saw seahorse (1st time) and two octupi (is that right? octopusses sounds better, though...) and a 5-6 foot nurse shark along with all the standard stuff.
Day at sea was nice... won $340 in the casino. Hit trip 10's on the 3 card poker table with $10 on the pairs plus spot. Saw a lady hit for 8 large on the video poker machine. Natural royal flush. She never smiled. They paid her cash in 100's.
Great food... Basil Hayden was flowing... along with the coco-locos, mango mania's, and various foo-foo frozen drinks poolside.
Thongs, chicks and fantasies galore. Those are private, though.

No lost cameras... which was easy given I don't have an underwater camera to lose!
No sting rays, either. I have, however, swam with them at Sting Ray City at Grand Cayman, though. Their skin is smooth as silk!
