Craziness Empty Craziness

Its all good, though...

Saturday (last) my son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and their weimereiner moved in with us. They sold their hoime, have bought another, but the posession dates didn;t work out well... for them. However, the lady and I see it as way cool... we get 5 weeks with our grandson as he starts walking, had his 1st birthday, and just get to see him daily.

Tomorrow, I finally pull the trigger and split from the office I'm in and break ties with the guy I've "partnered up" with for about 8 years. Of course, that has its ups and downs... but a far better situation professionally and personally. A couple here know of my irritations of late.

Finally, my daughter just celebrated her 1st anniv, her husband passed the bar exam, and on their actual anniv., they made an offer that was accepted on their first house. They'll move-in by the end of May.

The CK family is doing their part to keep the truck rental and box business alive in Indianapolis... that and spiking the Arth-Strength Tylenol sales in our neighborhoods!

Yes us old timers like to have the lil grand kids around especially in the summer (mine was here with me today) and I can tell your daughter (and your son I met) and her husband are not a problem like some folks have with kids these days.

Just gotta watch the lil one so he doesn't sneak off and get lost on the golf course (I know you wouldn't let that happen)

Now as far as your change in business.....well I hope that works out real good and no matter how the local economy is that your company will be better than ever and I know you are good at what you do my friend.

So have fun this month and of course like I told you last time you called you can do that or email any time cheerstoyou

Having slept on it... IO may delay the office move.
My management system (software data base, accounting, and pretty much the whole ball of wax for the office...) company is playing games with me. If I can't access the info, I'm dead in the water...

Fuckers... AMS/Vertafore. Magic, they're out there in Washington. You mind dropping by with a couple bags of concrete and inviting a few of them for a swim? Maybe take along the "mole eradicator" and have a little target practice?

Lots more to the story, but I won't bore you all with the details...

Just remember CK, things will work out the way that they are supposed to... (I'm trying to keep telling myself that right now as my industry is dying at the moment...) But at least I know we have a convention center and 20 hotels to build here in town.

Then after that the boom is probably over in central Indiana for a while and it might be time to move on....

Update...

Still here. Held hostage by the almighty computer... very tense. Several shouting matches already.

Horrible situation at the house last Saturday. Started off great! 1st birthday party for my grandson Clayton. It was all good! Then my son and his cousin went out back to play with Peyton (his Weimereiner dog). They throw or hit a tennis ball down the fairway and the cool pooch busts ass chasing it down. Neal (son) uses a fungo bat for this fun. When Kevin (cousin/nephew) tossed he ball up to hit it (yep - you see it coming, don't you) crazy Peyton jumps up to catch it mid-air... swing and CRACK! He accidently hit Peyton in the mouth with the bat. Disgusting sound...

Long story and $1500 later, the poor pooch had his upper jaw broken straight across the roof of the mouth. Shifted the snout/nose up about an inch. Emergency surgery... $1500 later... he's back home and acting like nothing ever happened.

Never a dull moment at the CK Ranch... damnit! BORING would certainly be good... better.
