Re: Mighty & Mr Bear
Nope, not in Vegas. I'm in southern Arizona.
Amazingly, there's no longer a need for me to move to Sin City!! For years I've been talking about setting up camp in Vegas....but now it's not necessary. And considering current economic conditions, it's a damn good thing!! Casinos are now keeping a closer eye on "listed" players.....semi-pro or full time professional players. Casinos don't like those people because they are very disciplined and never give the casino much of a profit margin. In other words......the casinos like tourist-minded people.
Tourist-minded people gamble without structure. But semi-pro and full time pros play within a perspective that actually gives them "short-term advantage in the long run", even though the casino holds the overall advantage in vigorish on most individual bets made!!
Anyway, this is probably not a good time for semi-pros and full time pros in Vegas.....they'll have to reduce their "footprint", making smaller bets and accepting smaller payouts. And in hard times like these, the casinos may ban a known pro, even at the craps tables.
