Tony Dungy retires.
Damn.
I was hoping TD would stay for 1 more run at the hardware.
The Jim Caldwell era has officially begun.

Yes, things are crazy over on W 56th Street at the Colts offices.
I'm not real confident that Cauldwell is going to make many changes... I see him as a TD clone. He's not had to do much, given his role as 18's QB coach.

Re: Tony Dungy retires.
Wondering if Caldwell will retain Meeks and the special teams coach (can't think of his name). They've done such a fabulous job the last few years, right?

Meeks is being interviewed around the league. I think he senses its his time too.
The special teams coach? We had one of those? Dude ought to give back 60%...

good to see he pulled the trigger on Purnell, Our special teams have been horrible for a while now.
I don't know about Meeks. I'm having a hard time since he did have a big handicap this season with the Pittcock and Ed Johnson situations. We basically played our situational pass rushers as every down DT's this season. Losing those 2 guys hurt this team more than anything this season.
I think that we have the absolute worst luck with DT's than any other team in the NFL.
Hopefully we go 1-2 with DT's this offseaon.

Re: Tony Dungy retires.
I think the O-line is good to go. When new players are plugged in, it takes a couple of years for the line to jell, then we'll see an improvement in the run game......but we need to take another RB high in the draft this April. Rhodes gave us what he had left, and Addai isn't dependable.
A RB and two DTs in the first 3 rounds!!
