Updated through Week 15

Ok, I should have Week 16 updated on Tuesday. I got a head start on this weekend, so it won't take long to finish the standings update.


When you look at the standings, you'll notice I had to change the number of points given on Thanksgiving. So instead of each best bet being worth 2 points, they are worth 1 point as usual. This is what BBs are worth each Turkey day, anyway.....I don't know why I made them 2 points each this year. The reason why best bets have to be worth 1 point is, when adding up the scores, it's important that each parlay is 3 points, each T.P. is 2 points and each best bet is 1 point. This makes it easy to confirm everybody's score at the end of the year. We don't keep separate stats for Turkey Day games, so it's impossible to determine who scored what on that specific day, especially later on when updating and confirming the Archives stats.

Therefore, Turkey Day scoring will be structured as it always has been (as far as I know )

Best Bet = 1 point.
Parlay = 3 points.
No bonus points are given for Turkey Day Perfectas (which are actually True Perfectas). But in order to keep archive stats accurate, we can't give extra points on Turkey Day since we don't keep separate stats for this day. And as to why we never kept stats for Turkey Day......hey man, blame the Rican, not mighty_colts!! Or blame Magic. It's HIS fault. Hell.....blame seandemarco!! That fuckin' guy played ONE day, hit one Best Bet and lost the other, and then he disappeared forever!!

I got it, Magic. You only have 1 tie this year, right? Don't forget that I had to change the Thanksgiving Day scoring, so some players had a few points taken away since each Turkey Day best bet is only worth 1 point instead of 2.

Hey, come to think of it.....since a "perfecta" on Turkey Day is actually a True Perfecta, there's no reason we can't give the standard 7 points for it.

So if somebody goes perfect on Thankgiving, they'll get the extra two points and they'll be given credit for a T.P. in their personal stats. It won't matter how many games are played....if you hit 'em all and the parlay, you get the T.P. bonus.

No whining, just insulted..I dont throw Eggs like some of "us" in here..And I try and keep up with my points, I was stuck on 28 thanksgiving weekend, thru the egg and picked up 1 last week..

I dont know about in Indy, but in Md/Pa 28+1=29

On the results page Im down for 27 points, im at 29

If any of you guys want to dispute your point total, you'll have to post your weekly stats. Just go to the Spread Sheet board, add up your points one week at a time, and post the results here on the Main Board. If it turns out I made a mistake somewhere along the way, I'll correct it.

Don't forget that I had to adjust the Thanksgiving Day points (1 point for each Best Bet instead of 2).
