that yellow SNOW
Just got more snow here and I stayed up all night so when it got light enough I took about 50 more pics
Can't believe I actually lifted that sequoia up out of my truck and planted it there 20yrs ago (50ft tall now)

Re: Watch out where the husky's go and don't you eat
The nice thing about all the building codes I had to obey when I built the house 6years ago is that we are always warm running the pellet stove on low and the ton only cost me $200 this year.
Still have 40 bags left too.
We have about 6 inches of snow now and it is supposed to stop and then the temp drop down to maybe 16 degrees at night for a couple nights.
Any more snow than this pisses me off as you probably recall from some pics I have showed in the past.
Rather use the broom on the porch than the damn shovel every where.
I have had the chain gate locked to keep dopes from pulling in my driveway but the main gate is open just in case I ever decide to go to the store.......but we plan ahead and won't have to.
Spring means I can play golf so that is more than welcome (hell it isn't even officially winter yet)
The pond is getting snowed over now.

Hey, Frank Zappa ... how you keeping that palm tree alive. I think it's one of those big artificial ones Better watch it as plastic can become very brittle when frozen

Oh it's real SA
It has been a spoiled tree since I first planted it many years ago.
Look at the one close up pic of the palm tree and you can see I wrap a roll of that black ground cover material around it every winter like a blanket and some on the ground around it (under the snow now)
And I go out and sweep the snow off all the time.
For the first 10 years I used to park one of the cars next to it in the winter so the wind wouldn't beat it to death.
Of course it was one of the wifes cars that sit out all winter too.
I did have a Yugo for several years and it worked good doing that until it got taller than the cars and I sure as hell would never let my retired/spoiled 4X4 sit out and get wet and cold
This global freezing gets worse I will probably use one of those heated cords you can use for stuff like this.
But it is pretty big and I hope tough now (almost 10ft tall)
The first time I planted 2 by the pond about 20yrs ago it got down to 5 degrees here and they were small and both died on me
So if the climate never gets warmer it will always need some crazy tree guy to take care of it every winter
I was wondering if anyone knew that Frank Zappa song
