Price of Gas Today

Just got home from my bank trip and bill paying in the Jag and decided to top off the tanks on the way home.

For some reason it was still full on one side and the other side only needed $18 worth.

BUT.......the price at my closest station down this side of the post office is now $2.49

Do we blame GWB for this?

Oh and at this gas station store for some odd reason after I payed for gas I turn around and now they have a display of Samuel Smith's ales.......so I grabbed a bottle of Taddy Porter on the way out ($3.89 a bottle)

$2.03 at the corner near my house yesterday. Filled my car up for under $50.00 today. First time in a long time for that.

2.25 here on the east side, 18.00 to fill up..I can blame GW, he feels guilty sticking it to the American Public for the past 3 years (Katrina) he's made his money and is getting ready to ride off in the sunset with a fat retirement package..I also blame GW caus Exxon just came out with their
3rd quarter reports..14 billion profit in 4 months, dont forget it was 12 bil 4 months ago..Why Gov't wont step in on big business and regulate them is beyond me.

Maybe Obama Hussein will have better luck.

It's a $1.97 in some parts of Southern Indiana right now. $2.20 up here in the NE part of the state. I have a 3/4 ton diesel that was freeking killing me in fuel costs. Unleaded was going down and the diesel was staying put. It was costing me over $100 to fill my tanks. Now I see relief!!! It's down from $3.60 to $2.84.

Obama or McCain I don't care as long as things get back to normal. I don't like to talk politics on here and to be quite honest I like some of the ideas from both of them. Still very undecided at this point in time. If they could combine both of there good ideas together and put Peyton Manning on the ticket we would solve the world problems!!!!!

I'm not commenting on things one way or the other, but noting on something I have seen in the past....

Mark my words, as soon as this election is over, no matter which way it goes, we will be looking at prices right back up at $4.00/gallon. Prices always go down around big election times and go right back up afterwords...

Diesel is below 3.00 a gallon..Fuckers, as I just filled the oil tank last month at 3.59 a gallon.

Filled up the wheels at $1.93 yesterday. Didn't have to drive cross town either... right at the corner. Nice to fill-er-up for under $50...
