I'm ashamed to say I wasn't aware that Jimmy Page was a member of the Yardbirds! (Or maybe I did know but certain activities from the 70's made me forget...)

I of course had those certain activities back then too but I was a music junkie and Jimmy Page has always been my favorite so I knew all about the Yardbirds history

Jimmy was 18 years old in those videos and soon after he left because they picked up Jeff Beck and wanted Page to play bass and of course he gave em the finger and a few other things and left and started a small band known as Led Zeppelin

Just found out yesterday that Page and Plant and I think John Paul Jones and some drummer they added will be on tour in the good old USA next year and a new Led Zeppelin album finally after about 28 years!

Ok I better get to work and off the pc or nothing will get done this fall (I'll have to pick another golden oldie video later tonight)

Btw Blue you were a youngster back then too
