Americans take it in the ass..AGAIN
I drive my normal 50 minutes into work yesterday at 5am, pass my smoke shop in Jacksonville, gas is 3.37 a gallon, dont ask me why but Im feeling good..Drive by it yesterday afternoon its 3.71..I bitch like a son of a bitch..but I drive on, caus I dont need gas yet. Now last night Im watching The Fox Channel, and I hear there is a mandatory evacuation, if you dont evacuate from Galveston, there is a 1500.00 fine..Oh and by the way, on your way out of Galveston, we are sticking up straight up your keister at the tune of 5.00 a gallon..
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE PEOPLE!!!!! Isnt there a law about gauging people in times of duress??. They have already refired up one of the Oil Riggs in the Gulf they are fine....
My MIL is doing a drive trip , she is in St Augustine Fl this moment, she went to bed and fuel was 3.45...Same station is 4.65..I just dont get it, how can stations up the price on the fuel they have already paid for, I call bull shit to any store owner that said they paid a higher price for fuel they just recieved.
God Bless America!!!

Oh yeah, this is not a political thread, unless you think that GW is tied to big business..

Re: Americans take it in the ass..AGAIN
Ours was down to $3.74 and then when the wife went to get gas she stopped at the post office first (across the hiway) and when she gets back in the car she see's the store worker out changing the price to $3.79
So when she came home and told me I drove back down to fill my 6 gallon container up so I have some for the Deere mower to finish the season (it was already full of gas too) and then put some in the old 1947 Deere so I can finally start it up for the first time all summer.
I have the Jag and Cutlass put away with full tanks but the truck is still empty and the crooks want me to buy new plates again for $107.
So I may just have to fill it up with the gas can (3 trips)
Then I go to the building supply store to just get some sandpaper and it was closed!
So I came home coasting as usual and had fun mixing up a few bags of ready mix and finishing the door I made and installed it up on the tower building so the wife has her other room to stash girl stuff in and now I can finally move on to one of the house projects and get more ready mix and see how far I can get on the sidewalk I want to finally make on the back of the house and pick which bricks or stones to stick in there to give it some kind of style.
The more concrete I pour the easier it is to mow around here without having to trim after or pull weeds that get too close to the buildings

Cravn.....I'm in NE Indiana and someone traveling from Michigan told me that gas jumped from $3.76 in the morning to $5.05 in the afternoon!
Your right....... The gasoline in those pumps was bought at a certain price and should never go up untill they have to pay for the new shipment of gas at a higher price.

ha ha ha.....we've been taking it in the bung-hole since 1913, when the Federal Reserve Bank was established. I hope everybody understands that the Federal Reserve isn't a part of the government.....it's a private bank.
