Central air and all and they're quite low (about to increase 34% in 18 months, though thanks to PPL adjusting for Pa removing the cap). Guess that's one small advantage to living alone.

$60-70 per month here for 'ol Reddy Kilowatt to visit... cook (when we eat at home), heat water, and furnace is gas.

My gas budget is $188/ month. Last year... $125.

I budget 200.00 a month for electric, last month hurt me..I know the AC ran non-stop from late June thru the first week of August, havent had the AC on since then, caus we didnt need to, its been gorgeous weather here (except for yesterday) no humidity, overnight going into the low to mid 50's. I anticipate a 150.00 bill for next month.

Im taking down live trees out in the woods to split them, Im going to beat this oil BS, thermostat stays on 58 in the winter!!!

It does really suck when we lose power especially in the winter since we have no backup.



Dude, you have to get a generator, and if you know someone that knows electricity you can get one to run your house for 700.00, I have a 5300 BTU Generator, but I dont know anyone that knows electricity, so I run extension cords and power strips, I have satelite, computer lights and refrig off that generator. Bad thing is no water, but some day Ill get somedody to hook me up a plug so I can just plug the generator in and have entire house power.
